Be Faithful

He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?

And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?

No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. -Luke 16:10-13

We see in this parable a rich man had a steward who has wasted his goods and was found unfaithful over what it was the rich man put him over to steward. Due to his unfaithfulness what the rich man had him to watch over was taken away and he said what then shall he do?. The Lord has given us things to steward over and to be responsible for keep in mind its not just for us or about us only. He has given us these things to take good care of it, utilize and be fruitful with these things and nurture them. When you neglect that which the Lord has placed in your hands to steward it can be taken away from you due to your unfaithfulness and neglect. He will raise up another who can better steward what it is he has given to you. This individual will be faithful and more grateful than you are more than likely will find it to be a privilege to have such a responsibility and steward it well.

We see the scripture tells us that when we are faithful over little will be faithful over much, whoever is unjust over little will be unjust over much. God already knows our hearts and what we are doing with what it is he has given us. He takes account of what we do with what we have and if you are unfaithful over the little he will not and cannot bless you with more. why?, you may ask, that is because if he gives you more you will squander it, you will mess it up and it would actually be a curse. If you are unjust over the little things he cannot give you more because you will be unjust with the more and most likely become worst. God honors Faithfulness, tenacity, consistency, fruitfulness, he honors when we protect and guard all that is given unto us. Slow down in asking for much more if you have not been found faithful with the little. Work on your heart, work on your tenacity, work on your character and integrity when it comes to the things of the Lord and commitments. It is a crucial matter in the Kingdom of God, see the devil will give you any and everything without a care if you fail or squander or mess up because he wants you to fall and stay down. Our God is a responsible God, protects us and most importantly knows what is best for us in any time or season we are in.

You cant force, push, or manipulate God, he knows what you are in need of and when, He knows what to give you to steward over and how much responsibility. If you feel it is little thank him for the little because he is teaching you and preparing you for the more. Your job is to pay attention to what is placed before you and steward well learn, grow and mature in these seasons. If he increases what he has given you to be responsible it is because he has seen your faithfulness and honored you with more. Every level you go to is for you to be attentive, sober and vigilant not to get complacent and comfortable believing that you know it all. You are a student at every level and if you miss the opportunity to learn and mature you will not be increased with more that you seek because you were either found unfaithful or unjust in Gods eyes.

If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?. Mammon is the love of money and covetousness which all ties into idolatry. He says if we haven’t been faithful not even in unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?. We live in a day in age where everyone is chasing after mammon and turning their backs on God the one who is able to give them the wisdom to create wealth. Due to their lack of patience and endurance so they want to go after these things on their own. When this is so at this point they are being deceived by the adversary the devil, who wants to rob, kill and destroy their relationship with Jesus. Many have become unfaithful even in the pursuit of unrighteous mammon because mammon has failed them so they are looking and looking and looking for a new way to become wealthy. When you are like this who will commit to your trust the true riches? the true riches of God?, you will be unjust.

When man put’s you to steward over something and you are found unfaithful, the Lord says who shall give you what is your own?. Nobody wants to deal with someone who is unfaithful and fickle because that shows that you are unstable. It shows that you cannot be trusted, people want someone they can rely on. Especially in a world filled with deception and many smoke screens where people are pushing people down to step over them to make it in this life. Not only man looks for faithful and reliable people but also our Heavenly Father does in regards to his Kingdom. When you are faithful, reliable and just it gives you a good name and reputation of having good character. Whereby your name will be mentioned, you will be referred, and favored by God and man. Many wonder why doors are shut or why they cannot breakthrough, you just check your faithfulness towards God and the things he has placed before you have you been faithful and obedient over the little. Beloved don’t ever think that God will give you more if you’ve been unfaithful and disobedient to what he’s given you to steward. There is a standard with God not to punish you but to mature you and raise you out of the old mindsets and character flaws that kept you bound it is all to set you up for greatness.

No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. This scripture is very self explanatory, you cannot serve God and money (covetousness, greed, lust, the world) because you will hate the one and love the other. You will hold to the one and despise the other, when you are in this you will have to juggle between ok do I devote this time to God or mammon. If you are in need of money you will most likely push God to the side and serve mammon. God does not mind you having nice things or money but when you begin to love it, cherish and worship it then it becomes a huge issue. You have crossed over to idolatry which is a abomination in the eyes of God, The Bible lets us know ye shall have no other gods before me. Mammon pushes you to put it before God, I say that to say this put God before everything. Your prayer life, your praise and worship, your devotion time reading your bible and coming before him put it all before anything you do and God will prosper you. The Lord will redeem the time you devoted to him he will to exceedingly abundantly in order for you to achieve success. In the Kingdom of God we should never achieve success at the cost of loosing our fellowship and relationship with God.

God first in all, Jesus first in all, Holy spirit first in all. Lean not unto your understanding but in ALL your ways ACKNOWLEDGE ME and I shall direct your paths. When you lean unto your own understanding you direct your own path which will divert you off the path of the Almighty God. This scripture in Luke 16 is powerful because its a teaching and warning, the Lord chasten those that he Loves. He Loves you and I so much beloved that he sends correction because he see’s the direction in which you are going that can potentially lead you astray. Jesus Christ is the great shepherd and he will never lead you astray but the devil will lead you astray into all directions that are far away from the Lord. When he leads you away from the flock then he will become that angel appearing as a angel of light, lying, manipulating and leading you astray in deception. Be sober and vigilant because your adversary the devil walketh about seeking whom he may devour. The Lord says after you have seek my face and dwelled in my presence and I’ve given you direction you are free to go and pursue, never pursue anything without my clearance. Glory be to God. Blessings Saints Shalom.
